What is that in old school measurements???? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fJ8w_elBN0
That was my old 88 EA, 5sp, worn engine with 4480's, homemade CAT & exhaust, std cam, ported & polished head, not much shaved off, just a lick to clean it.

stock BA XR6Ts usually run low to mid 14s, possibly worse if it's the 5 speed.
if he's got a genuine 150rwkw with a T5 he should be around mid 14s, so it's not a ridiculous comment.

but he has a BTR, so it is harder to beleive, but still not impossible

i find it interesting that it apparently lost 5kw after the head work, but gained another 10kw after some lengthy & costly dyno tuning

but then again if you can feel the difference then thats all that matters.....

BTR + 3.45's will NOT beat an XR6T in an N/A SOHC 6

His 149rwkW dyno run has an A/F in the high 12's. So, if it flowed better, there is a chance it went leaner and once over 13.2 A/F power will drop away.

To the OP what was the 145rwkW a/f reading? Also 'tuner'.

no it will beat an ba xr6t

and yes your right my car was running very lean, he told me that when i asked him why the power droped

i dont know what it was since he dident print out the other dynos he just kept re tunning and running it again

BTR is quicker off the line always

good work!! youve made some really good progress with this setup...

1200 is fair price for remove and refit with some basic port cleanup and tuning...

have you found out what cam u are running?

Now come on bud. You go beat few XR6Ts first before you say it will beat one.
BTRs are not faster off the line, perhaps if the manual bogs down or lights up, but you say always. IF you have 4.11s and a stally I would give you a very good shot of beating a manual of similar power. But you dont.
