Hey people I got a ef falcon wit a au motor and it has a rev hang problem wen it at normal operating temps wen u rev it it sit at 2500 to 3000 for about 5 secs then goes bak to normal it has a Wade 977b cam and adjustable fuel reg set at 43psi Which is 300kpa and still does any help would be gd

I had a bit of a rev hang problem with my 5ltr - turned out it was the cruise control cable holding the throttle open - it was accelerating by itself while driving and was sitting at around 2700rpm. All I did was disconnect the cruise but im gettin it fixed on wednsday . . . Hope that helps somewhat

300kpa is too much fuel pressure with a standard ECU map, especially with a cam.

Make sure the base idle is set correctly, the oxy and PS sensors are working, the ECU is throwing no codes, etc.
