hey all,
quick question for anyone with a ed 6 auto, when u put your foot flat what do your revs jump to? my car was jumping to about 3500-4000(economical), but now only jumping to just under 3000 ( i think i got a bad batch of fuel). anyone that has a mod'd ed post up to, it would be good to compair.

That makes no sense. It all depends what speed your going and what gear its in and what gear it kicks back to.

I honestly dont know but are the ED's 4 speed or 3?

at 60 id say it would still kick back into first having the huge first gear fords do.

Run some 98 through it and see if that helps if not check the normal things like plugs leads airfilter fuel filter etc.

it should kick back from fourth to 3rd,

slower then that kickdown to 1st or 2nd.

if you're in 1st or neutral do the revs go above 3,000rpm? if not you have a blocked cat on your hands

but do they in 1st or neutral now?
may be worth ditching the current fuel in there if you suspect a bad batch.
