hey guys.

im about to change over my rocker cover with one that i painted myself, the pipe that goes from the front top of the cover body to underneath the TB.. (im unsure of what its called) i have heard that this piece can break (mine is metal). Just wanting some clarification on how to remove it and swap it over to my new TB before i start pulling it off.

Usually the PCV valve is stuck in the grommet...coz it goes hard like a rock, so you'll have to carefully chip it out from the inside with a sharpened electrical screwdriver and a hammer to tap it with. Get your self a new grommet for your painted cover.
