is there actually any difference between the EA, EB/D, EF/L and AU rockergear?

im doing the head change and i was thinking of using the EA or my ED ones i have here but i also have EL ones i was considering putting in but its not worth the effort if they are all the same

is there any gains by using the EL?

Yes there is a change in ratio from EL hybrid models on, they are incompatible from the previous models.

ok so the EL gear that was on my ED motor wont give any bennefits by using them?

No I would not think so other than it is newer and most likely less k's.

yeah, i have the thermostat housing which im cleaning now (with a tooth brush) and i want to redo the rockercover (what ever one i decide to use) so it all matches. ill also paint up the washer bottle and overflow bottle too.

eb->early el are the same

EA has the same ratio but larger HLA's

EL changed to 1.8:1 rocker ratio
