some times the other casing cracks and when you go threw water it hits the coil and dies,and they never give warning signs just die like it did .if you have all weekend or even a day

just take all the bolts out of the inlet manifoldd and put the new coil in it wont take that long

an idea if you dont want to change the coil like that is to move it like i did , much easier to get to if it dies on me now just in front of the p/s tower. all you have to be is handy with a soldering iron butane type is best , have some extra wires and a longer coil wire not as neat as the ford setup but i know that i would rather have a bit more of a messy engine bay than a prick of a road side fix it job.
