Righto topic starter.

I would like everyone to post their special secrets they have done either by force or by accident and gotten some power gains.

We know the standard bolt on gains, but it's the little things that got you those extra kilowatts.

Thinner throttle blade, smooth out throttle body a bit.
Advance Ignition timing.
Give engine a good clean out with carby cleaner and water mist.
Flap beneath snorkel to direct airflow up into it.

All sorts of little things you can do, just to improve on what's there by that small amount.

Advanced timing.
f**k off gas mixer.
Those 2 got me from a 17.9 to a 16.9
Making up a bit of a 'strip only' air intake atm.

I have/am cursed with lpg, so to 'insert' (for want of a better word :P) the lpg into the intake it has a kind of bulb with a hose going to it inside the intake, before the TB.
It's f**k restrictive.
So I turfed that, nobdy try to start my car on gas :P
Working on a 3" stainless pod intake that, together with removing my left headlight, should get rid of any intake restriction.

When you want to run someone and you need the extra performance, tell you girlfriend to get her shoes and get the f**k out. The car is guaranteed to go harder. Plus you can do a nice burnout and leave her tasting rubber.

I do that and on valentines day. :)

Dont forget to put the seat as far back as possible, as it puts more weight over the back wheels and gives more traction off the line :?
