just do a tranny service by changing the oil, not much else is needed for the tranny.
also do the basics like spark plugs, oil, oil filter, ignition leads and fuel filter if they havent been done in a while, the vibrating while stationary could be cause of heaps of reasons, nothing major even crappy fuel, so run some high octane fuel for a couple of tanks and see if that does the job.

the vibration when in drive at the lights.. will most likely be one of your engine mounts..

if you auto is kicking in late the oil is to old or there is not enough in it and the vibration most likly will be engine mounts they are a b**ch on this model make shore you get the rubber ones not the oil filled ones they just break other wise and you have the same problem again and just make sure you go toa good workshop and they will only do what is need to be done

ok thnks, ye my dad will take it to the guy that has been doing all our cars 4 years, his good and is trustworthy.
i wuldnt hav thought the engine mounts wuld be the problem tho. culd the vibration be caused by a timing problem?

it could be from heaps of diffrent things, to hard to tell. are the revs droping when the car vibrates??? or does it constantly happen while the car is stoped? and does it happen on netruel aswell or just when on drive???
