well i think i put a bit too much oil on after cleaning my k&n panel filter (read: way too much).

it's been drying for 40min and its still dripping like mad when i move it around.

my question is:

im gonna leave it for another 30 or so minutes, if its still dripping i unfortunately need to move my car, is it going to cause any damaage?

the dripping of course thanks to gravity isnt going to go into the throttle body, but im just paranoid that i could cause some damage?

just give it a shake, or swing it around a bit.

it shouldn't hurt the car to much. cars burn oil all the time
