In the EL, Im using an EA box/shifter etc. From looking at a few interior pics, the factory ef/el's shifter seems to sit in a different position. Is this true, and if so, is the el shifter handle (just the part that bolts to the box) able to be purchased seperatly? I like the way the shifters seem to sit, a bit closer to the driver, as mine seems to be sitting a little too far away sometimes.

Shifter in the EB annoys me a little too. would like less travel between gears and on some occaisions it's a bit of a reach for first.

Its not so much the travel between the gears (something a quickshift kit would fix), just more where the shifter handle sits. EL etc seems to sit closer to the driver, probably due to the shape of the shifter handle.
