I'm just about to get a 1634 wade cam in my EFII, I was just wanderind if any1 knows the ford part number for the shims coz my ford dealer cant find them and said that he needs a part number?

I was also toying with the idea of using stainless steel washers insteed as it would only cost $3!!! Does an1 know what size shim the EFII uses???

Thanks

I used shims, but honestly it probably doesn't matter all that much if you use washers - as long as they are strong.

And the right size! I'm pretty sure I posted up the aprt number sometime when i was doing mine.
but i also added it to the FordMods.com part database, so go have a look in there! (you can find it in the left colum on the homepage). browse through the parts, click the edit button in Internet Explorer, select find, and do a search for shim. it'll come up with the part number (or just look at chunkz post above as I'm pretty sure that's the right one).

Yep that part number was the right one, there gonna cost me $3.50 each. Or i just might go to the wreckers and buy the whole rocker assembly.
