I don't have the part number, as I did this ages ago, but you want the extra thick shims, 1.9mm ones.

You add these to your existing shims, they don't replace your existing shims.

They're around the $85 mark.

My local Ford dealer did not have them in stock, i had to order them, and they're a pretty big dealership.

I have posted this before... /snip (note i have not used them yet)

These are for an EL and according to fords computer these are the "standard size" of 3 sizes.

Part Number pic (90k)
Shim pic large (90k)
(images mega compressed for small size)

shims measure 11mm wide x 1.9mm thick or 10.97x1.87mm exact

EDIT: oh and they cost me $39.85 for 12 :)

The EL shims are different to the EA ones like according to the pic... The EAs don't have a beveled edge... how wierd...

I've got a spare EA cam in my garage at the moment which Im gonna send off to SureCams around the corner from me... I think he said they could supply shims @ $66.00 a set of 12.

I would assume so since these were the ones that came up on the ford computer for a 6cyl EL
