What one did you get? I think the AU valve stem seals won't fit EF's.
All the others should be right, but not 100% sure on the rocker cover gasket.

i just got the ef head set in vrs brand but was wondring is the vrs head gasket guna be thiker than a au one coz dont wana lose compesion

I have never measured them, but i can only suspect the AU one to be thinner, since the AU had a bit more compression, than previous.

el 2 and au stem seals r 7 mm compared to the ea to el 1 which r 8 mm

i had the prob when putting new stem seals on my el 2 head didnt relise till it was back on that it was 7 mm ones i needed.

they can be hard to get off just use pliers and twist them off .

yer i got mine off so there is 2 dif sizes of seals well mins is 94 ef so i beta chek to see if there guna fit coz the gasket set ses ef to el 97

Yeah the 98 were different, they were running the AU style head changes.
The Hybrid engines had a "Glass bead blasted" looking rocker cover, no paint on it. Just a flat silver colour.

hay can they presure test the head with the valvs out or do they have to be in

Yeah, they can pressure test the head with out the valves in it. To do it properly, the coolant (usually soluble oil) they use in the tester should be at 98dgsC.

What condition were the valves & seats in? Were they pitted at all?
If so, you should get the valves & seats reground.

some small very shalow pits on the ex side other than that they look very good they will come out with the grinding past

Don't be a tighta**e. You could also get the inlet valves back cut as well, this improves flow. Its an old trick from way back. If theres pitting, grind 'em. No stuffin around, no probs then. You gonna replace the t'stat too?
