Fairly sure it would just be polish. What sort of metal polish do you guys use? I use a polish for metal only, called "purple". Great stuff!

The last shot i have of my bay, an old pic now, it's utterly filthy, cause i've done a gaskit and it's leaking oil like it's going outta fashion...... I think it might be the head gaskit, leaking badly around the rear. Gotta do something about it, but i also need new vavle stem seals, soon too, so i think i'll just go get a new head built and chuck it on. Maybe an AU head...

Anyways, the URL is

http://members.tpg.com.au/adslqp7v/ford/enginebay.jpg

Take a good look at the injection setup and tell me what you think! Lpg Injection! :D I also have the XH snorkle and EA MPI bottom airbox hose fitted, makes a nice difference to the smoothness and pickup of the ford, not bad for the $$. I'm thinking about custom painting a new rocker cover as well, when i have the head off.

I don't think i'll do anything about the head until late spring or early summer, i'm too busy with my Torana atm, rebuilding it's turbo is the next job, while it's @ the panel shop. :D

Cheers

ToranaGuy

That's dead sexy! Turbo power. :D

I would love to turbo my EB, but i don't think it's worth it. I'm having fun building the turbo setup for my torry atm, and if it's cool enough when it's done, i think i will turbo, maybe twin turbo my panel van. :D I've been told once i drive my torry with it boosted, i won't be able to go back.

Is it true, about forced induction?

Cheers

It could also be the rocker cover gasket. Early EBs were notorious for poor-fitting and leaky rocker cover gaskets. Also, after a monumental C**k when changing the oil in my EF (Dad shattered the oil cap and bits fell into the rocker assembly requiring removal of the cover to get them out and in replacing the cover we didn't line it up quite right), it used to piss oil out the back of the rocker cover (the amount of oil it seemed to lose and the time it lost it in put my old Corona and it's (still, even after three years) busted rear main to shame) too.
