hey all, worked up the energy to install ef central locking motors into the XG on the wknd. as far as i know they plug into the smartlock module but smartlcok proving harder to find than the g spot.any clues to where the smartlock module is located in xg utes?what exactly does it look like.Gregories manual states near handbrake lever but no luck with that.

also the wires on the motors dont seem long enough to reach.is it just a case of extending wires?

Above handbrake lever..... take off all shrouding around handbrake and you will see, from memory i think if you take out instrument cluster you can access some of the mounting screws easier.

either side of the glovebox, theres 2 modules, Unsure if you can remove them witout taking out the dash! never tried.

I'll see 2 screw threads either side of the glovebox cutout, these hold the bcm's in.

smartlock module controls the central locking, usually red coloured, and sits behind the LH dash vent.
