Hey guys, quick question after driving my car last night i could smell coolant when i got home its pretty strong cause it's still lingering round this morning, cant see any leaks and didnt notice a great deal of water loss or anything everything looks fine, but this is the first time i've smelt it so what's the deal? Head gasket time? or something else?

Heater core could have a pinhole leak(not enough to drip as it evaporates) and can intrude the cabin.

A bugger to fix as the dash has to be removed to get to it.

My car did the same thing. Took me ages to work it out. Ended up being a slight weep from the radiator core and was happening in between it and the condensor so not visible from the outside. The radiator was not even a year old  Sometimes also as is the case with my car currently the O ring for the heater pipe on the back of the water pump perishes and slightly weeps. Ocassionaly i will have a dot of coolant on the driveway the next morning from that.
