hey all

well, still got 0kms on the rebuilt motor and i've already broken it lol

so, its started every time, seems to have a missfire & a bit rough, as expected from an agressive cam (Rspec4) and new engine - however, it decided to shatter a rocker arm this afternoon :?

any thoughts? was only the one rocker arm (last intake valve), spring & valve appear fine. doubtful its PV, am using the machined RPD rocker gear (arms are std) - so am open to thoughts! car was not being revved at the time, was attempting to idle...

cheers :)

Where did the rocker break, if it's at the tip where the HLA sits this can happen when tightening the rocker gear down, and a HLA goes in on an angle fracturing rocker tip and breaking at a later date. Know this from experience. As Rapier said put a new rocker arm on and its fixed, hope it's that easy..
