any ideas on what to do? screw extractor? im p****d off, no wreckers open till wednesday and car has no coolant! (ED falcon by the way)

i had this happen too last month

i couldnt get a easy out to work, drill bit wouldnt go thru the bolt. Ended up having to get a new housing

I agree, chances are with the bolt being harder than the housing a drill bit can slip and chew out the housing instead.
Give it a go but be prepared to buy a new housing.
