hey guys when i release the clutch or drop down gears i hear a snapping noise from the fron of my car ive changed the engine mount again what else could it be? its annoying and doesn't sound reliable

check your firewall where the clutch cable routes through..... it could quite possibly be the firewall has cracked and needs reinforcing!!!

check the bolts on the gear box should be two down the bottom i had one really loose just but some loctite on it and tighted it back up....

I would check the gearbox mounts and engine mounts again.

I would agree with definately checking this out and also if not the firewall also check your pedal box as they very commonly crack around the clutch pedal mount.

If it sounds more like a crack in the front end as in suspension or that area another common thing that needs to be checked is your cross member bolts as the falcons were always known to produce a cracking noise if these bolts needed a nip up
