so i got my AU2 back from getting a gas injection system done. installer insists they dont touch any body electronics. anyway... when i go to lock it it acts exactly like a door is open. but it isnt.
the interior light stays on. and when i lock with the remote it locks, unlocks, sounds horn a few times.
all doors and boot are visibly closed. what could be the problem.
what i did notice though is when key is turned to ACC it will let it lock
(also not sure if its related but my clock has stopped working)

First up check your fuses and your fusible links ,they may have blown a fuse or accidentally cut a wire near the battery.,Cheers Kevman

thanks kevman. ended up being fuse 20, (a give-away as the clock wasnt working). when tested with the multimeter it came up fine. but when visually checked it was burnt out. glad its solved, dissapointed one fuse could cause so much havoc and confusion!

somethings up with my au as well ! every time i try locking with the remote the door buttons cycle up and down at least 4 times.
then the horn sounds and leaves my car without being locked or imobilised.
everything seems to be working on my car ! but i did notice the rear brake light was out on the rear parcel shelf! :?

oh and something i forgot to mention ! i did purchase a blue 16 cluster led for the interior light about 3 months ago !the one you hook up to ya original bulb with clips!
it has started to flicker lately as well ! i bet thats my culprit as well !
i was starting to think it may be the door actuators but i will now go and check my fuses !
good work guys ! thanks. :D
