Problem that struck the other day, and has struck the Missus this morning...

Turn key in ignition to "on" and ignition lights up everything, then turn key to "start" and everything dies. I mean everything, like the battery has been disconnected.

30 seconds later, electrics come back on, like the battery as been re-conncted, and everything needs re-setting (clock, radio etc)

This happened on Friday other day when it was REALLY hot, and after leaving it for a few minutes, then trying, it started.

This morning its not hot, and is now marooned in the garage.

Before the NRMA arrives for the missus, what could this be, based on those symptoms?

EDIT: SOLVED. NRMA fixed it. Loose battery terminal. There was no need to be rude to the missus though. How on earth was she going to check battery terminals with the baby crying and requiring attention. Prick.

NRMA is on the way.

Seems the power has completely gooooone now. Fob won't work, nothing comes on.

The battery was only replaced 6 months ago, so if its that I should get a warranty replacement.
