Hey guys,

Thought some of you might be interested in the idle qualities of the ALTED Stage 1 Cam. Also shows how you can switch the ISC on/off for a cool effect :)
These videos give you an idea of what it idles and revs like anyway.

You may notice with the ISC on it idles pretty high, I like it like that - makes the car a bit easier to drive IMHO.
I've had it idling on the 500rpm mark before quite steadily, but since I can't be bothered changing it, the video shows it at 700rpm which is where I've set my base idle.

Here they are anyways:

I agree, mine takes twice as long to reach redline when revving it from idle!

I still want to see dyno readouts before I consider... The torque curve is all im interested in, compared to stock.

Hehe, that's just the Stage 1. I have a sneaking suspicion the Stage 2&3 would rev even quicker.

I just got the stage 1 fitted today with the help from jaysen (cheers mate, got confused). Theres already a raspier note from the zorst.
I've noticed a bit of a power increase but I haven't driven round that much yet. Can't wait till it finally sets in

thanks for the memories.. the stage 3 was great, had a rumble idle, minimal hunting, picture the noice of a worked V8 at idle, the popping, rumble of the exhaust at idle, almost misses a beat, picks itself up, whump, whump, whump, whump. you know there is something hot under there, the car physically rumbles along with it, put it in first, slide the clutch out, ease your boot into it, revs up to 2 grand, 2½ grand, 3rd gear, 5th gear, just cruise. or another very good and highly recommended method, take her to 2 grand pop the clutch, bury the foot on the loud pedal, hold the hell on, steer it left then right the left again in a vain attemp to hold it in something that resembles a reasonably straight line, you find 2nd and 3rd almost as fast, quick enough on the changes you only tag the rev limiter on the verge or the 1st bounce, cause this baby makes power all the way to redline, every gear, and I mean every gear! both cams I've run that are designed by Jaysen have been works of art, the stage 1 gave me 5 FULL seconds a lap off my PD at Eastern creek circuit, a PD at the drags of 14.8 a steady 14.9ET that could be hit anyday of the week. yet was so sooth and buttery that it was simple to drive in traffic, actually easier to drive in traffic than the XR cam that came out. the stage 3 was an infant only 2 DAYS OLD.. when my car was violated by a Honda, (thats another thread)

seriously trust this BS artist and get the Magician Jaysen's cam in your car. can't say enough praise of this guy his work and his dedication to making your ford go its best..

ALTED STAGE 1,2 and 3 By Jaysen. don't forget it.

Love the display there Voxace :)

Now looking at putting the cash to the side to get me one. But I am the same as everyone else in waiting for the dyno figures and the price of the latest baby ;)
