hi all

Whats my best bet for engine rebuild? i mean total rebuild minus replacing pistons, ie bearings, rings, and the complete gasket set.

ACL? through repco or somesuch??

If you're getting an engine rebuilder to check, machine and assemble the block, they can probably get the parts cheaper than if you buy & supply them.

i'd be reassembling it myself, its just a stock engine built with stock parts, no machining or anything.

Bores will need a hone at the very least Glenn, thats if they are still good.
I'd probably get the deck skimmed too, just to give AU MLS headgasket 100% surface to seal on.
