how often should you replaced spark plugs and leads?

is every 20,000 kms about right? or a little more/less

Personally I would not change them unless there IS a problem or you are running a very modified engine that tends to get a lot of high end work. Is better to have them tested say every 20,000 klms and make sure they are within tolerance. Changing them for no other reason than for klms done is a little wasteful in my book.

It would be better if people took more care of things like changing brake fluid yearly as it has a tendency to absorb moisture.

std leads can last a long time.
manifacturers usually give a 24month 20-40'000km guarantee.
ive seen leads last alot longer.

Well said mate....Agree 100%, Especially regarding the yearly brake fluid change.

Plugs every 20000KM-50000KM depending on your engine specs, condition etc........

Leads should be replaced every 50000km-100000km( also depends how good the leads are to start with.) Eagle/ Motorcraft leads should last 100000km easy before breaking down........
