yeah I got one on my ef as well. They're pretty good, after a few days of driving I could definitely notice a difference in air increase. It doesn't make your car a powerhouse obviously but it does help for further mods.
The only downfall is that its fairly costly, depends whether you're getting the ceramic coated intake pipe aswell. I got quoted $290 for it

or just grab an AUIII XR8 intake snorkel from fraud for $30 or so - no need to spend that much on an SS Induction! :? that money would be better spent elsewhere!

as ugly bob said, add a cold air induction hole underneath your airbox to your front brake ducts and you've got enuff air coming in without the bill of SS induction s**t..

Like you xr Rob .... my standard EF XR6 already has the larger snorkel without the wings on the side .... like number 3 in Timmeh's picture.

I have a sneaking suspicion they are one of the same .... I was going to buy an el gt one until I discovered it was the same as what I already had as standard .... physically it was the same and so was the tickford part number.

YOu can fit an AU XR8 Tickford one with a bit of work.
