im in SA and i have one of his stage 3 engines (not PS) and neither me or my mechanic fell it is 145RWKW like adveristed, especially considering long list of mods - pacemaker 4480 headers, 2.5" highflow cat, 2.5" full lukey cat back manderal bent exhaust, XH snorkel, k+n panel filter, ea TB to airbox pipe, and advanced timing. i think with all that im pushing 140RWKW, but i will get it on a dyno in a couple of weeks and find out. and im not even going to start the list of problems my engine had when it came down here (not all the fault of mark, but his business his responsibility)

You can throw a new motor in your car and tell the difference between 140 and 145kw ?! I very much doubt it...

Is yours a manual ? I believe his figures are quoted for manual transmissions, so you'll get a bigger loss with an auto.

145rwkw isn't too much an ask from a freshly rebuilt motor with a good exhaust system and a mild cam. Many members have acheived similar results with a decent cam and exhaust system on tired engines, so I'd say you'd be pretty close to whats been quoted (unless there's something really wrong with the engine otherwise)

Thats right all the big name joints like ITS performance, JMM and CMS all quote their stage X kit rwkw figures for the manuals...the auto will be slightly under these figures

my car is a manual, stright from the factory, also current engine mods:

Exhaust: pacemaker 4480, high flow cat, lukey 2.5" mandrel bent system
leads:eagle 9mm
Plugs: ngk "R" series (whatever the R means)
intake: Xh snorkel, KnN panel filter, EA throttle Body to Airbox Pipe

also im not saying i can feel the difference bteween 145kw and 140kw, just that with all this i would have expected more, any way it will probably be on the dyno in a few weeks so i suppose ill find out then.

having problems posting pics, i think they are too big, trying to figure out a way to shrink. (not quite up with technology LOL)

A decent exhaust and intake system is the first thing you do so it's pretty much assumed that when you start looking at more serious engine work (cam, head work, performance rebuild etc) that you'd already have the basics taken care of.

A turbo would be awesome but too hard to hide. The 190+ rwkw na car would be somewhat of an achievement and a barrel of laughs to drive.
