Could it be because the ECU is seeing 3,000rpm in 1st gear and the car is doing 0km/h? I'm not sure but its the only thing i can think of?

is there any other benefits of a stall converter other than for dragging damn bombadores at the lights?

nothing really major mate....like any performance mod its designed to assist in better launches and to get more power to the ground quicker.....one thing to note any torque converter upgrade should like JMMs kit be purchased with a larger transcooler upgrade...more revs = more friction and more heat... a 3000rpm version used continouslyand not look after wilkl kill the box pretty quick

Pretty much... ECU looks at RPM vs km/hr and assumes that the trans is buggered...

talk about bringing something old back up

would the shift kit help reduce the heat and make the trans last logner with a 2500stally ???

Mate i dunno WADE said if i bolt in a massive CAM, stally needs to go in, i assumed so a car could idle higher and the stally would stop it from moving forward

yer actualy that would make sence as before i got a tune i tried parking my car and just as i was coming in the cars revs started hunting up to 1800rpm and i just got my brakes done so non worn in brakes and unexpected rev caused a small bumper rub

possibly get a chip rather than a stally as my revs never go past 1000rpm and everythings perfect

and it will fix up the problem you will have of it stalling
