Just did a compression test on the ef and it came back with 210psi across the board with around 1-2 psi difference.
My gregorys manual says that you should get a minimum of 1010kpa when you do a comp test and that works out to 146psi(seems a tad low to me)
If i have 210psi that works out to be 1446 kpa.
So theres 64 psi difference and im just trying to find out what the compression should be(in psi) in a normal 250000 ef motor?

those figures sound about right for a healthy engine, the only time I did one was when I first got my first car, and it was 183-189psi across the board, which I kinda expected for a 180000km untouched engine.

i got about 180 when i did mine. i assume after the head gaskets go the compression lifts a little. whats slightly more important is the difference between the cylinders. if its large (like 3-4%) then there will be imballances
