I know there is heaps of posts about this but i have a squeek in my engine on start up and it keeps churping away for a lil bit after i warm it up and drive for a bit, what is it? Im sure it isant belts could it be starter motor?

it wont be the starter unless it's being held in mesh.
it sounds like belts though, or a flogged out idler pulley which is noisy when cold.

take the belt off check all the pullies, do they spin freely?
