Hey Guys

Just wondering what price I should roughly pay for a new set of steel braided brake lines. Not having much luck finding any on ebay.

Car is a BF Sedan

Cheers

Phil

Give these guys a buzz...they are in Melbourne though.

I got a set for my EL a while ago on a special price and they used to be a site sponsor I believe.

Yeha Cam is a great bloke, also can you just clarify how much is involved in replacing your current lines. Are they only short or run the entire length of the car? I never really looked into it much!

They are replicas of your existing rubber lines ie:-from hard line in the front to the wheels, and the line from the body at the back to the diff. I was recalling from my EB with conventional diff. I expect the independant type will be slightly different. In any case it is a handy-man's job,one afternoon.

ahh ok thanks mate, hard lines, cool makes sense now, i thought these would be replacing them all the way as i was under the impression they were rubber all the way.

No they only need to be flexible where there is movement. You will be pleased with the improvement.
It is a very cheap mod.

As kwaussiekid said, just flexi lines from near the arch wells. Hard lines from the brake master cylinder to all the wheel arches, and then from there it is a flexible line. Simple as drain brake fluid, remove old lines, put new SS lines, bleed brakes and all is done.

Good luck with it...definite improvement :)
