Ive tried everything to get my ute going and it just dont want to go. Ive checked all the plugs, leads, dizzy and timing and its all in good order. But it doesnt get fuel into the cylinders to fire, if you spray Aerostart down it, it sort of fires, which makes sense but on it own it hasnt got nothing.

All help will be good as Ive just got no more ideas. And as its on been partially rebuilt because of the aux shaft if this one dont go then its out with one and a new one in its place.

"It doesn't get fuel into the cyl to fire" - haven't got the fuel supply/rail line and the fuel reg/return line crossed over??

Auxilary shaft spun the teeth off. It was running good until this. I pulled the entire front off and replaced the shaft. I didnt touch nothing fuel wise so Im not sure what the issue could be.

Is there suppose to be vacuum in the inlet manifold to open up the fuel regulator?? Because that seems to be the issue, theres fuel all the way up the line to the reg then thats it.

Sends the ECU Cylinder info so it knows what injectors to fire, and controls ignition.

Had the shaft seized? Cam timing good? Check compression 2 c if bent valves

The vac line goes from the fuel reg to the xmas tree on the back of the inlet manifold

Fuel Pump works. Ive just replaced the TFI module with a brand new unit and still no hint of wanting to go! Ive just put a brand new coil in aswell so it must be the wiring thats got an issue. Is there any chance that the ECU has packed it in??

have you checked for fuel pressure using a guage? the fuel reg may have s**t its self, not an uncommon thing..

Alright made some progress! The timing is not the issue, dizzy, coil or the rest. The car will run well with Instant Start just sits there and idles and does its thing. Ive removed the fuel reg and it seems fine, the fuel rail is full of fuel but the injectors are not letting the fuel out.

Is this a sign of a f**ked fuel reg or what? Whats the issue? Im so close but so far. Lol.
