Hi,
I'm new here. I own a 95 Ef Falcon, i was just wondering what people could advise me to do with it to get a little bit more power out of it. I recently found out that it is chipped. Which gives it a head start i guess. I was thinking about changing the Cam, exhaust and intake to see what that would do. I haven't recorded the 1/4 mile yet or even had a dyno test.

Also is there anything that is P Plate legal?

Thanks, Adam.

firstly, if police see extrators on your car they can kick up a stink if your a p plater and have p****d them off, but alot of the time they dont pop your bonnet when they pull you up, unless they see the way you drive and know theres somthing under the bonnet thats not ment to be there. secondly what do you want to do with the car? is it auto or manual.

It's an auto, Would it be wise or not to put a shift kit in it? also what i would like is to be able to Eat up an SV6...not just beat (which i already do) but really smash them into feeling that they have wasted their money on nothing =D

Don't know what sv6's your racing, but they should be able to have your car for brunch as a almost stock AUTO

Usual mods would help, exhaust, extractors (try get a heatshield to cover them) air intake, to help the car breathe better.

If you get a shift kit, make sure is the adjustable, cause you don't always want to chirp from 1-2 and 2-3 sometimes.

Bahahaha. +1 there.

Get a manual and at least be able to enjoy the stock configuration. My fiance's auto EF is a slug.

Otherwise wait until you are on your blacks and go with the Cam, Extractors and exaust or if you can afford it a Turbo

I had extractors on my ef when i was on my p's before it was turbo and the cops popped my bonnet and they didnt do anything.... i dont even think they knew what they were looking at they kept shining the torch on the extractors to see if they could spot a turbo hahah

but in response to you wanting to beat an sv6, i think the only way your going to be alot quicker is to go forced induction. The amount of work you would have to do to an N/a engine to make it that quick would probably not really be worth it. Youd probably get more bang for your buck if you boost it.

And yeh the auto is sluggish, youll notice alot better response with a manual transmission.
