yep the same - 62mm from memory? :? you can get them ported out to 68mm (which is the max before the walls become too thin) for a lot less than $450 lol

im pretty sure the XR's have the heavy duty tailshaft as the regulars are only rated to 180km/h before they s**t themselves, im not 100% but i dont think XR's are speed limited, therefor they get the good tailshaft

Tickford suspension - low springs and thicker sway bars.
No speed limiter that I have encounted so far over 205km/h.

If youre not doing track work, and if you havent replaced your tailshaft with something thats happy to spin at over 5000rpm, then dont remove the limiter! Its there for a reason!

need to replace the oil pressure sensor with a sender for the oil gauge to work, but the volts will work fine.

whats the differance in tailshafts?, or would it be cheaper to get the std one balenced?

p.s. my car has no speed limiter (gli), and the tail std shaft has survived many a double tonne run.

You forgot the fuel pressure regulator is also different, 300kpa instead of the standard 270kpa.

Ecu is different too.

The front end is different, the wheels are different, the trim is different, the badges are differnt.

I personally wouldn't make my car an XR wanna be. By all means customise it and mod it, but make it unique and different. There are plenty of ways to make a car look and go better than an XR.
