You guys are probably right about the tuning. All I know is that I've been impressed with the results the couple times I've had it done.

The point I wanted to make was that these forums are littered with guys who have made exhaust changes and have had problems and less power etc. In most cases I would think it is because the stock car is set up/tuned to be stock.

At the end of the day we all enjoy mucking around with them anyway

It can be a lot of things... My car had a problem like that last month and ended up with a rebuild for the engine. It ended up being the oil pump packing in and shredding the drive shaft from the dizzy. But for you it might be just the coil, dizzy cap, plugs or leads and fuel.
I don't think the computer would have that much trouble because of the change in back pressure.

Unless the guys that did your exhaust pulled out the oxy sensor and never put it back in?

hmm well thanks for the replys. i just bought my fuel filter so i will pop that in this weekend and today i chucked in some injector cleaning fluid ...it didnt seem to help much so im hoping its just the fuel filter. If that does nothing i think i might replace the spark plugs & maby leads and if that dont work its off to the ford mechanics

check the oxy sensor, leads resistance.... pull out ya plugs... had the same problem with water getting through the crack in me head... coil and dizzy.... timing chain adjuster sooo many things.. dud fuel? and a dyno tune aint gonna b as cheap as $170
