Hey all,
as usual im back with another problem
I hate the hot weather everytime summer comes something goes wrong with my car...too bad i cant time travel and skip summer

anyways i left for work this morning and noticed a vibration or shudder as you might call it and didnt think much of it and went to work like a normal day

On the way home i noticed the issue was still there and so i gave it a bit of a test

Seems it only happens between 40kmr and 60...
Backing of the throttle made it dissipate, putting the car in neutral made it go away as well.I dont know what it could be and its kinda worrying me

i read about engine mounts giving the car a vibration but this is a first and its never happened before

I know my transmission oil needs to be changed but surley that cant be it as it only started today and has been fine well forever

can someone provide some insite into what it could be...?

Also one last question. My rear brake pads squeal when stopping but the pads are fine and have plenty on them. Would this mean the discs need a machine?

thanx

My old man told me its transmission, lets hope an ATF change will resolve the issue

Not sure about the shudder but it sounds like the pads are glazed. It'll happen if you've been misbehaving with the rear tyres. Take out the pads and give them a light scrub on the concrete and see if that helps

Wasn't that thread revived not long ago?

Should make a sticky with best posts of FM.

To the issue at hand. It might be a good idea to change the transmission oil. Might also be tailshaft maybe?

It may be the bush in the rear of the extension housing where the tail shaft slips in to the tranny. Jump under the car and give the front section of the tail shaft a wobble and see if its loose.

ok i will have a look tonight, Im still getting a slip at takeoff in first at any standpoint, wondering if this maybe i havnt put enough ATF in when i changed the fluid or if there is an issue with the transmission. If theres a prob with the Tranny then im probably gonna give the car to the wreckers and buy something else. The amount of issues ive had are just givin me the s**t now and ive just had enough.

dont give up
i was at ford today they offered to quick look at my car for free today.
they reckon they should be able to tell me what is making mine have similar issues in 5 mins for free .
imo it will be either a few simple things or somthing major if it somthing major then consider wrecking it
