Hey guys.

It's been a while, got new shift at work so its hard to get online now.

Anyway, i had a look at my car this weekend and found a have a leak from the sump seal. Can i just undo the sump and replace or do i have to raise the engine up(according to car manual). If someone has changed it without having to do this please let me know. I dont really want to have to raise it. what a pain in the a**!!!!

Thanks

Your going to have to raise the engine up, not enough clearance to change sump gasket otherwise.

Put a jack under the bell housing, undo engine mounts, then raise engine up as far as you can.

CHeck that all the sump bolts are tight first. give it a degrease and it if stops leaking all good.

I stopped my sump from leaking just by retightening the bolts.

Also, make sure it isnt your rear main seal thats leaking, definately give it a good degrease and check it later!
