I know people in here have sunroofs. They are a great item to have on your car but i was wondering if anyone gets them serviced and if so where abouts and how much. I just got quoted $140 for them to do everything and thats from the sunroof centre in noble park.

It would be good for everyone around australia to tell people of the different prices and if its worth it

Help will be appreciated

I got a sunroof put in at Prestige Sunroofs in Burwood just over 6 months ago and I've had no reason to get it serviced - although if there was a problem it's got a lifetime warranty so i'm sure if a problem arises i'll be able to take it straight back for them to look at it.

What's the sunroof doing to warrant a service?

its a bit sticky. The problem is its after market and i don't have the receipt plus i can't find this company anywhere in the yellow pages, they only have a sydney number that i haven't contacted yet. But i have a booklet that says it should get serviced every 6 months.

They give the runners a full lubricant and check for water. They do the whole lot and i was thinking maybe i should cause when i close it from tilt sometimes it get a bit stuck so thats y i asked the question.

Just on 2 grand. Well worth it though. Only problem was at the time I had grey interior so got them to do grey roof lining, but now its cappaccino so I gotta go back and spend another $300 to get them to match the interior. Apart from that - great install and no problems as yet.

Sounds like you should get it looked at if its getting stuck etc. Wise move.
