i want to put a pod filter in my EA. However the angle of where the pod would be mounted is not suitable for a pod to be installed.

i don't want to remove the aibox. Is there another airbox that will bolt in and have more room so that i can fit a pod filter? I dont want to hack away at the EA one to get it to fit.

want it for that sucking noise and supposedly all the benefits which k&n list which i doubt i will get.

or alternatively getting a short piece of 90 degree piping mof the same diameter and rotating it a little to get the needed angle, and then mounting the pod to that? sounds like a good idea, any suggestions re that approach or any other? thanks in advance

Get an EF airbox and a short length of aluminium joiner pipe from supercheap/autobarn/bursons then use the EA intake hose and a BA snorkel.

thanks mate, is the ef box a straight swap? I know it is bigger than the EA one but if the bolts line up then its all good.

The intake hose goes to the bottom of the airbox in the EA, I read somewhere that the EF ones are at the top or something? It would be sweet just to relocate the intake hose to the other place where it goes into the EF box? Are they of the same diameter?

Otherwise thanks for the advice, I looked at the EA box today and it is just too small to house a pod.

I grafted the top of my air box to a battery box and put the pod in it.. works great, sounds great and looks factory..

bit of work though.
