Where can i pick up the tacho signal from? I installed a sports cluster today and i need to wire up a tacho feed. Apperantly i can go from the negative side of the coil but is there anywhere else because into quite hard to get to on the Cpi EA

pop the bonnet and surch around at the end of the motor (closes to gearbox) there should be a few wires running from the dizzy straight past there and into a grommet. its a pink and blue wire. thats where i got the signal from and works like a charm. just remember that your searching for a pink/blue wire and you can tap into it about 40 cm before it goes through the grommit. any troubles pm me and ill try and get you a pic. cheers
