IF i were to be takin goff the rocker cover, what would be involved in taking it off to puting the thing back on, do i need some sealer when it goes back on?

also with installing a cam would anyone be interested in helping me install one into my car not sure which cam i should go for my EL fairmont ghia. auto too.

and im sure we could work out something.

its easy as piss.
remove the bolts from the rocker cover, pull out the breathers, leads, accellerator cable and choke cable.
theres a big rubber gasket in the rocker cover lid which is re-usable.
no sealer needed.

just realised you moved to perth. im from rowville, haha. saw you at domino's at stud once, asked about your body kit...

Its recommended to apply sealant to the 'half moons' in the ends as oil tends to find its way through there.

agreed there...

I think it was permatex ultra blue or the equivalent that should go there...or i might be wrong and got the water pump sealant confused with the rocker cover. Someone please correct me here :D

good point, never thought of that. mine doesnt really leak. been off about 6 times in the last 6 months haha

nice thank heaps boys. i remember that time, lol nice yeah moved to perth now.. would anyone any off the cam situation? could anyone help install it or can recommend a cam..
