Hi guys,

After having my temp gauge stop working last night I have discovered the wire on the temp gauge sender has come off. I've done some bush mechanics and masked taped it back on as an interim measure.

Do I need to replace the sensor (as it seems to be working fine now) or is there some way to repair this in a more permanent way than masking tape?

Cheers

Kezz

Thanks Papa Smurf,

Can you explain how it works? I'm sending the missus to Jaycar (she works close by) and need to brief her so she can explain if needed.

Thanks

Kezz

Ok, finally getting onto this after being away for work. Just realised the flat blade on the sensor has broken off :|

Is there anyway to salvage it or does it need a new sensor?

Thanks guys.
