Ive got a pronounced idle problem that i cant trace. A compression check came back clear enough.
Is there another way to test if its gone between cylinders?

at least one cyl would fail a comp test if its blown between a cyl

With the engine at idle, pull/push on ignition leads at spark plug connections to see if it's not a high resistance connection causing the problem ..

i6's often feel like they are missing at idle (like a slight thud at random times).
I've been in dosens of falcons that do the same thing. it's not just that is it?

it looses pwr about 30 secs after i start it and then comes good. Its also flat spoting about 3-3500 revs and generally feels s**t on pwr all round. (yes have checked all the fuel system)
