Yes surprisingly quick. My dads 3.5L Magna easily beats my fairmont. Not for long though...

my mates stock magna solara 5speed ran a 15.15 at willowbank the other day but I think its a 3.5L but in any case up the ed :wink:

mmmmm. Might need a manual champ.

I've gave a couple of fagnas a run, they launch quick and bang out 1st gear pretty fast. More than likely they'll get a jump on you.

Against the couple I've run, I was even half way through first and as soon as I hit 2nd it was all but over, once you can put down your torque cleanly its all good.

If you can launch without bogging or lighting up itll be close.

magnas are quick, i gave one a run in my ed and got hosed, i later found out it was turboed

i had a small run with a 94/95 model magna from a set of lights, he had me by like half a car length to about 50 but after that i ate him up....then had to stop at the next set of lights!!(ps mines a stocko ef)

hmm... 02 magna vs my 95 EF. magna has canon and all that rice, and it wasn't a contest. i know the bloke can't drive, but i didn't expect to beat him by 2 car lenghts.
