Hey guys just in the process of emptying and refilling my radiator and I'm unsure as to which pipe is the heater hose? See picture below, is it hose 1 or 2? I have to unplug the mofo and stick a garden hose in it to flush out the excess coolant and gunk.

Cheers.

neither of them, they're the radiator hoses, not the heater

the heater hoses are over on the passenger side of the engine

well you can foolow that step, the heater hoses are down behind the bbm at the firewall, however if you manage to get them off in under three hours you'll be doing well!! They are right pricks of things to get off!! just flush it the way we've told you!

Sorry mate, but can you give me a clear and sorted procedure for what you are suggesting I do?

Lol, I don't think you're understanding how I worry too much.

Do you mean to just let it flow through without filling up the radiator and flushing like that?

Should i unplug the bottom and the bottom hose and run water through it via that top "heater hose"?
I thought filling up the radiator first and then releasing the water until it was clear was the way to go?

Or...

Disconnect hose no. 1.
Undo hose no. 2 and place hose in that end.. turn on water.. and let the flushing begin :)

JUST QUICKLY.

Am I okay to leave the botto mhose on the radiator itself and just point the other end away from that electrical thing under the water pump? (after disconnecting the water pump end) Proving very hard like last time to remove that hose from the bottom of the radiator.
