Hi guys,

my car is slow to heat up and wont get to temperature. ive been told its the thermostat. Might be jammed, full of sand or just shagged.

anyone got any directions/pics/advice? i've heard there about $10 to replace. just need instructions on how to get to the little bugger and what to do.

Cheers

follow the top rad hose to the thing just next to cylinder 1.

undo the 2 bolts. take old one out, put new one in, may want to smear a bit of silicone on the housing for a better seal, do it all up.

might wanna try drain a litre or 2 of coolant out first.
