i have posted a couple of questions about my ed xr6 running rough and have still not yet had any luck in getting it to run any better,i have decided to pull the engine out as i have to pull the sump of due somthing foreign falling in there, when i drained the oil it was very thin and smellt of petrol,it was also about 3 litres overfull, does any 1 know why the oil could be mixed with the petrol,i had semi low oil pressure as well when it was idling which i am assuming was from the thin oil,any help greatly appreciated

Maybe a lack of compression due to worn rings and also allowing petrol to seep into the oil. Petrol in the oil isnt a good sign in anyones book.
