hey all...i'm gonna do an engine conversion in my EA Falcon...currently the 3.9L CPI...not the fastest thing around.
Now, i am either gonna get an AUIII engine...making 153kw...or a BA 4.0L DOHC engine making 182kw... i know the AU will fit...but will the BA? i will probably have the change the engine mounts, but that's fine. also, does the BA still use the same T5 manual that the EA-AU use? i know in 2003 they changed to the 6-speed, but below 2002 the BA XR6 and XR8 use a 5-speed manual...i can get the 5-speed outta the AU for a decent price...but will it work with the BA engine...

mounts, k frame/crossmember, bonnet. ETC. actualyl can fit with mods but the ecu etc coist would be stupid to put it in throw in a AU engine with some mods to sump and your K frame to allow it to fit or find a low km Ef/el engine and bolt that in with no mods to k frame
