Ok fellas know it will be around here somewhere but what's the go with fitting a au xr6 motor into a ef fairmont 1994 mdl.. shattered to my monty only had 140,000 on the clock waste of a good motor

i'd say he gave it a little too much and BOOM.

such a young motor, its a sad day for the late e-series generation. :lol:

yeah but... i've done a whole lot of revving the C*** out of a falcon and doing stupid s**t never thrown a leg out of bed... did someone remove the rev limiter? :p.

ive only seen it once, almost twice. just due to lack of oil sieze up and BOOM.

my sisters camry put a hole on the block and a bike i was riding siezed up on me doing 120. scary s**t when the back wheel locks up at that speed on the highway.

Cant say ive seen a 4.0 throw a rod. Ive only seen it happen on 250's at massive rpm.

Yeah, I have once, a BA XR6T that they tried to alter the rev limiter to take advantage of a different cam/boost/fuel map setup and it went boom.
