Hey guys,

Slowly restoring the ol' XG and I got it licensed yesterday and was able to take it out for a decent drive. I found though when it changes gear (Auto Transmission) I get a bit of a "Thud / Clunk" and a split second before it actually engages.

Any ideas as to what this could be and how to go about fixing it?

Thanks for any help, I did not want to have to book it in and pay for a check up without having a good try myself.

Cheers and Merry Christmas!
