Is the AU Tickford cold air intake any better than my stock AUII Futura one?
There's one on ebay for $35, just wondering if thats a good price, and if it's worthwhile fitting one.

it wont make a noticable difference to power but may help the car breath a little better, i've no idea what snorkels the AUII's run so i cant tell u for sure. but yes $35 is a pretty good price

i priced the EL GT/AU XR8 snorkel today from ford and they wanted to charge me $52 bloody dollars!!!!

what a joke. i know a bloke that works there, so i might be able to get it a bit cheaper, but that is damn exspensive for a piece of plastic!!

Beer won't put tickford wings under the bonnet! :D

The gains will be throttle response more than anything, and even then it's only really going to be at higher engine speeds. You may also get more k's out of every tank, but it would be very slight.

I reckon it's worth it, even if only so i can add it to my list of mods :D
